Chapter five.
Leo was feeling very smug as he pulled into the Nullabor Roadhouse parking lot. He knew he was back much earlier than Arnold would have expected, thanks to an uninsured motorist writing his four wheel drive off just east of Eucla. Leo had picked up five wheels and near new tyres for three hundred bucks. It had been a real stoke of luck. The service station owner had told him that otherwise, he would have had to back track all the way to Ceduna to get what he needed. Yes he was very pleased with himself as he parked Arnold’s old ute.
Leo walked past the empty Greyhound coach and entered the reception area of the motel. Leo grinned broadly, the look of disbelief on Arnold’s face was priceless!
“Didn’t expect me ta git back so soon did ya son?” he gloated.
No..no, I didn’t actually, did you get the tyres old boy?”
“Yup, ‘ad a stoke of luck in Eucla, no thanks ta you old son” Leo glowered.
“Steady on !”
“Don’t tell me ta steady on!” Leo took a step closer and eye balled Arnold. “Ya knew darn well I ‘ad no ‘ope of gettin’ them tyres in Eucla!” He put his hands on his hips and glared accusingly. “Ya wanted ta git me outa the way is what!” Leo rubbed his forehead thoughtfully, “In fact I rekon you slashed them tyres! Cost me four ‘undred bucks an’ a days travel!”
“ Actually old bean” Arnold said plaintively, “I do rather feel dash well responsible in a way.”
“I flamin’ knew it ya poncy Pommie bastard!”
“I say, hear me out old boy!”
“Orright, what cha got ta say fer ya self?”
“Well the moving finger writes and all that..”
“Wot! ?”
“Never mind” Arnold smiled dismissively. “Thing is I can’t unslash your jolly tyres but I would be happy to give you five hundred dollars in compensation.”
“Five ‘undred?...so ya admit in ya bastard!”
“Gosh no, I didn’t slash your jolly tyres,” Arnold lied smoothly. “But I fell a kind of a responsibility for it old boy.” He shrugged expressively, "Manager, duty of care and all that."
“Well,” a mollified Leo said, “That’s or right then, I’ll ‘ave the dosh now though” he smiled cynically, “Wouldn’t want ta forget it, now would we?”
“That would never do” Arnold grinned as he opened the safe and removed five one hundred dollar notes ansd han
Suddenly the smile was washed away from Leo’s face and he asked fiercely, “Where the ‘ell is Jessica?”
“In the dining room with the Coach people, eating her dinner I would imagine.” Arnold opened the safe and took five hundred dollars out, handing it to Leo. “There you are old boy, don’t spend it all at once!”
Leo quickly stuffed the money into his wallet. “Dinin’ room froo there is it?”
“Yes indeed” Arnold replied, “But there is something else I want to ask you” he said placing his hand on Leo’s shoulder.
“Wot cha want now?”
“here’s the thing.”
Leo frowned suspiciously “Yeah?”
“I have a few weeks leave owed to me and well” Arnold smiled warmly, “The thing is, a relief manager is arriving from Whyalla tomorrow.”
“And?”
“I though it would be jolly good fun for you to stay another night, free of course, and for me to travel to Perth with you and Jessica tomorrow.”
Leo gaped in disbelief. “Ya flamin jokin’ right?”
“Not at all old bean, I will jolly well pay my way you know!”
Leo tapped Arnold on the chest. “I wouldn’t jolly well take ya outa sight on a dark night matey!”
Leo pushed passed Arnold and walked into the crowded dining room. He couldn’t see Jessica anywhere. It was pretty crowded though. Families with children, elderly couples and people sitting alone. There must have been close to a hundred people altogether She came out of the ladies rest room and walked nonchalantly to a table occupied my a lone man. Smiling, she sat next to him. “JESSICA!” Every head turned toward the indignant little man and he blushed. He walked quickly over to her.
“Hello darlink” she beamed. “This is Michael, he gallantly offered to share his table with me, this place is frightfully crowded.”
“G’day Mike.” Leo looked intently at Jessica. “Jessica, I’m gonna fix the Rover. Take about an hour, then we are gonna bugger off, so ‘urry up an git ready ta leave.”
“I don’t want to leave yet darlink” she pouted. “Arnie can’t leave until his relief gets here tomorrow!”
“Arnie kin walk ta Perth for all I care Jessica, that bloody Pom ain’t cumming with us!”
“Really” she replied coldly, her green eyes glittering. “What would mummy think of you treating me this way?” She smiled sweetly, “and uncle Aaro and uncle Vic? They won’t be very happy at all, at all! Squeezing his cheek painfully she added softly, “You better think again darlink.” She snaked her tongue out and licked Leo’s neck. A tingling shock jolted through his body and he gasped in surprise.
“If you are a good boy,” she said huskily, “I will let you watch Arnie knock me off tonight!”
“What!” he gasped.
“You heard,”he has been screwing me ever since we got here you know! Laughing she went off in search of Arnie. She hoped the coach would leave soon and she could have Arnold to herself. She could hardly contain herself. She knew the hired help would leave and it would jut be her, Arnold and poor unsuspecting Leo. It was going to be an exciting night, specially with drooling Leo watching the action. The thought excited her. Maybe they could kill Leo? That thought flooded her with wetness. Yes, and it would be practice for when she finally caught up with that bitch Jackie.
Men are such feeble creatures she told herself. Putty in her hands. Play things to be manipulated, used and ultimately destroyed... Arnie might last longer than most though she thought, running her tongue over her lips sensually, remembering his long hard cock. There would be wild music and more of that strangely addictive green drink Yes it was going to be a hot night. Leo would see the the mother of all performances. And tomorrow? Well that would bring what it would bring. Bring it all on she muttered. Jessica rocked back and forth giggling wickedly to herself.
