Katrina
Katrina was a blue eyed blond. Five eight, buxom and Dutch. She was 16 years old and lived with her parents and three big brothers. On the other side of the street,a dozen houses down lived Zac. At 17 he was shorter than Katrina and slender, you could almost say scrawny. He absolutely adored Katrina and although she was fond of him she did tend to use him a lot. She secretly thought of him as her slave, and in a sense he was.
Katrina and Zac had a strange relationship, it was neither this not that. He thought of her as his woman,a hopeless fantasy he knew, and Katrina referred to him as her fourth brother. She was a good looking girl and popular, and yet she always found time for Zac, even seeking him out in preference to her many admirers at times. They spent a lot of time together and yet they never touched. Zac was a shy boy and didn't dare touch his goddess. Katrina certainly didn't encourage any such conduct.
Time slipped away and they grew apart. That is to say, Katrina out grew her magic dragon, her Zac. Funny how time and circumstance can fold back on themselves. A chance encounter years later bought Katrina and Zac together again. They exchanged unhappy stories. From then on they began to see each other every day. Still they never touched.
One day Katrina kissed Zac passionately but he failed to respond. She sighed wearily and then, strangely, she asked Zac if she could have a shower, and that he should have one too. Zac agreed and Katrina went for her shower. Then Zac showered and dressed. Always the gentleman he asked Katrina what she wanted to do. She smiled and asked why he never touched her ? “Why do you respect me so much?” She asked.
Lost for words Zac just stared at her.
“Are you made of stone?” she suddenly snapped at him.
Swallowing hard and mustering all his nerve he replied softly, “I just love you Katrina.”
Caught off guard by the sudden relalation, never suspecting such a reply she laughed shortly “don't be stupid!”
His worse fear realized and his soul crushed beyond repair, Zac rushed past her,out the door and got into his car. It was only when the motor growled into life that Katrina realized he was really leaving.
She ran outside but he was a hundred yards away, distance and the angry growling of the big motor drowned her cry out..”I love you too, come back!”
An oblivious and Zac his young heart full of pain drove out of her life forever.
MORAL : if you love someone.....Tell them, just TELL THEM!
